Holiday Tips & Updates.
Well! It’s been a little while since I’ve posted on my blog. Things have been a little crazy around here as it is for everyone around the holidays!
I have been working for Bells of Steel part-time as their Content Manager since mid-December, assisting them with their Facebook content, and learning a ton about online marketing along the way!
Before Christmas I wrote, 10 Tips To Keep Your Training On Track This Holiday for the Bells of Steel website. It’s never too late to get on the bandwagon, so please check out this link for some helpful tips during the holiday chaos (or just in general!)
I’m excited that on top of coaching at Titanium CrossFit, I have been getting a chance to write more (and actually use that English degree!) I really enjoy all facets of the health and fitness world, so I think any different experience I can get will make me more well-rounded.
At some point I’ll have to get back to wedding planning 🙂 and school will be starting up for me in April. I’m really looking forward to learning as much as I can during my program for my Associate Degree in Exercise Science.
Volunteering with the Comox Valley Therapeutic Riding Society starts again for me next week, and I may start helping out the GP Vanier girls’ basketball team if things work out there.
Before the holidays, Freddy and I had a photoshoot at Titanium CrossFit, and a few other locations, with our friend and a great photographer, Bailey Schaff. Can’t wait to see what those look like when she is done, and to share them with you guys!
I’m still rehabbing my injury from my skydiving landing accident last May, but am learning to work around it and train my weaknesses that were getting pushed aside before. As frustrating as it is, I’m thankful for all of the support and kind words I’ve had from everyone during this process.
Freddy’s job as a Search & Rescue Technician is never boring, and keeps him on his toes. He is competing this weekend at CrossFit North Vancouver in the Icebreaker Challenge. He’s been training hard, so wish him luck! We’re lucky that the owner of Titanium CrossFit, Marc Mazzocchi, is coming over with us to coach Freddy, so he will have the best possible support team. (*Update* Freddy placed 11th out of 42 really good men, taking 3rd overall in event 4!)
We also had the chance to go to Cancun for a week at the end of December with Freddy’s family. We got some good workouts in, but it also felt great to just read and relax on the beach, and spend some quality time with family.
So, we’re keeping busy here at Raido Coaching! As always, thank you so much for your support as we nagivate through this crazy thing called life- learning more about health, fitness, business, but more importantly ourselves.
Please find Raido Coaching on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google+ to keep up-to-date with what we’re up to, and for a chance to win some cool stuff when we have online contests and giveaways!
